The Challenge

We assisted the German Armed Forces Association in furnishing its new administrative headquarters on Stresemannstrasse, Berlin, over several phases. The goal of the project was to transform the office space in the six-story new building into a new, modern work environment.

Our Solution

During the first phase of the project, we worked out the requirements for the new work environment in the DBwV after an in-depth analysis of the corporate culture of the association through interviews and workshops. The results of the workshops and interviews provided us with valuable input for developing the office concept, the concrete occupancy plans based on this concept, and the color and material concept under development. We also helped develop a large-format image concept as a unifying design element across all floors.

The second phase was about implementing the project plan

The specifications for the loose furnishings were defined in a preliminary design stage. Based on this, we drew up the service specifications for the office and conference room furnishings. After the contract was signed by the DBwV, we were responsible for establishing a clear order of operations and handled the fine-tuning of all deliveries as well as the handing over of the complete furnishings with subsequent invoice verification.

In September 2018, around 150 employees moved into the new offices. With a unified concept, we included the company's structure into the design and thereby coordinated the different rooms with each other.
